⚡ Your First AI Image in 5 Minutes

This quick start guide will walk you through generating your first AI image. By the end, you'll understand the basic workflow and be ready to explore more advanced features.

✅ Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• 🔓 Access to the AI Image Generation Tool
• 🪙 A positive token balance (see the Tokens page)
• 🖼️ An image to transform (optional for some models)

📥 Step 1: Load an Image

The quickest way to get started is to load an existing image:

1. 🖱️ Click the Drop an image here box at the top of the panel
2. 🗂️ The Image Browser will open
3. 📑 Select a category from the dropdown at the top: My Uploads, AI Output, Fabrics & Materials, or Cutout Studio
4. ✅ Click an image to select it

Alternatively, you can drag and drop 🖱️ an image file directly from your computer onto the image area.

🤖 Step 2: Choose Your Model

In the Settings section ⚙️ below the prompt, use the Type buttons to pick a model:

1. Click the image or video icon to switch models
2. Choose a model based on what you want to create:
   • 🖼️ Image: Best for image transformations and style changes
   • 🎬 Video: Creates short video clips from your image

Hover over a model button to see its token cost 💰.

✍️ Step 3: Write Your Prompt

In the large text area labeled Prompt, describe what you want to create:

Example prompts:

Transform this fabric into a luxurious velvet texture with rich burgundy color

Show this material in a modern interior setting with natural lighting

Create a close-up detail shot emphasizing the texture and weave pattern

Need inspiration? Click the ✨ sparkles icon next to the Prompt label, describe what you want to see in a few words, and AI will write a detailed prompt for you. The ❓ icon opens prompt writing tips.

⚙️ Step 4: Select Your Settings

Configure basic settings for your generation:

📐 Aspect Ratio

Choose a ratio that matches your intended use:

• 🖥️ 16:9 for desktop/presentation use
• ⬛ 1:1 for social media posts
• 📱 9:16 for mobile/vertical content

📏 Resolution (Image model only)

Start with 1K for the lowest token cost. Switch to 2K or 4K for final versions.

🔢 Count (Image model only)

Start with 1 for your first generation. You can increase this later to generate multiple variations at once.

⏱️ Video Duration (Video model only)

If using the Video model, select 4s at 720p to start. This gives you a quick preview at the lowest token cost.

💰 Step 5: Check Your Tokens

Before generating, verify you have enough tokens:

1. 👁️ The Generate button shows the total token cost for your current settings
2. 📊 Options you can't afford are greyed out
3. 🛒 If your balance is too low, purchase options appear in place of the Generate button

🚀 Step 6: Generate!

You're ready to create:

1. 🖱️ Click the Generate button below the settings
2. 📢 A notification will appear: "Starting 1 image generation..."
3. 📚 Watch the History Gallery for progress updates

👁️ Step 7: View Your Result

When generation completes:

1. 🖼️ The image appears in the History Gallery as soon as it completes
2. 🖱️ Click on any history item to view it full size
3. 📥 Drag a history image onto the image area to use it as the input for your next generation

For the Image model, try adding additional reference images to guide the style and aesthetic of your generations.

🔧 Quick Troubleshooting

🔒 Generation button is disabled?

• Ensure you have an image loaded (if required by your model)
• Check that you've entered a prompt
• Verify you have sufficient tokens

❌ Image not appearing after generation?

• Check the History Gallery for status updates
• If status shows "Failed", try generating again
• Refresh the page if problems persist

🔄 Want to start over? Hover over the image and click the X button in its top right corner to remove it, or use the Reset action to clear all images.
